Major investment has been made in the area with a new chairlift with increased capacity and the largest snow making system in Europe which guarantees the resort will be open. Night skiing is one of the resort's most exciting features with lighting along the El Rio slope and slalom course.
The resort is a pioneer in snowboarding and provides excellent conditions with an on slop half pipe having just been completed. Specialist shops and schools feature here. The four excellent restaurants located on the slops and number of ski schools offer plenty of après ski activities.
The resort village of Pradollano is at an altitude of 2,100 metres. It has very lively nightlife with plenty of discos, clubs, bars and restaurants.
Offering every winter sport imaginable including cross country , artistic (ballet, jumps and moguls) and telemark skiing as well as trekking and adventure skiing the Sierra Nevada really does have something for everyone.
